Knicks have a serious potential playoff problem in the Hornets

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Hornets gave the Knicks something to think about. Something serious. 

For years, they owned Charlotte. Their fans owned the place, too, transforming Spectrum Center into MSG Upper South. The Knicks won five out of six there heading into Thursday, but that was a different opponent running circles around New York in the Hornets’ 114-103 victory

A real problem. 

Knicks fans still dominated the arena in numbers, but Hornets fans had the final chant Thursday night — including from a golfer bro seated near the media, who was downing High Noons and obnoxiously taunting his entire section between frequent trips to the bathroom or for more vodka seltzers.
