Knicks’ Game 5 report card: Tom Thibodeau gets F for late-game mismanagement

Knicks’ grades from Tuesday night’s Game 5 106-103 loss to the Pistons as Detroit now trails 3-2 in the best-of-seven series:

Jalen Brunson, D

Struggled all night and didn’t get a chance to strap on his cape because he was off the court for the game’s most pivotal moment, when he was subbed out with three minutes left because of an injury and didn’t come back until there were 27 seconds remaining and a six-point deficit.

Shot just 4-for-16 and is taking a beating that seems to carry over game to game.

His health moving forward is a major concern.
