Knicks’ grades from Sunday afternoon’s Game 4 win, 94-93, over the Pistons to take a 3-1 series lead:
Jalen Brunson, A
Other than missing the potential dagger late off an inbounds — it didn’t matter — you couldn’t have asked for the captain to do more in his 32-point, 11-assist gem. He overcame nonstop physical defensive pressure and an injury in the third quarter, strapping on his cape again in the fourth quarter.
Karl-Anthony Towns, A
I thought he struggled for much of the evening and looked frustrated by the loose whistles from the officials. But he came through in the clutch for his two biggest buckets as a member of the Knicks, a fadeaway on the baseline and a stepback 3-pointer that ultimately buried the Pistons.
Josh Hart, A+
A trademark Hart game. He was everywhere. He grabbed 10 rebounds. He dished out five assists. He collected four steals, including a huge strip in the final minute. Hart also dropped three of his five 3-point attempts. His best performance of this series.
