Now that the dust has settled from the NBA Draft, front offices have gotten back to work making adjustments to their respective rosters. Ahead of free agency, one Eastern Conference contender pulled off a trade to potentially bolster their supporting cast.

On Saturday morning, insider Shams Charania reported about a trade between the Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls. Cleveland is parting with forward Isaac Okoro in exchange for point guard Lonzo Ball.

Since being drafted No. 2 overall, Ball emerged as one of the most versatile point guards in the league. However, injuries have taken his career off the rails in recent years. Ball returned to action for the Bulls last season after being sidelined for nearly two years due to a knee ailment.

He appeared in 35 games for the Bulls, averaging 7.6 PPG, 3.4 RPG, and 3.3 APG.
Following this trade, countless people in and around the NBA chimed in with their thoughts on the move. New York Knicks forward Josh Hart joined the discourse on social media, jabbing at the Bulls in light of another shocking move from their front office.

I swear some people got half a brain 😂

Over the past two years, the Bulls have broken up their core of veterans to embrace a rebuild. They've parted with former All-Stars in Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan, along with high-quality role players like Alex Caruso and Ball. However, the front office has minimal things to show for it. Given the quality of talent they've parted with, Chicago should have a pool of assets and enticing young prospects. Instead, their most recent move landed them a former top-five pick who hasn't panned out in the early stages of his career.

As for Hart, he is soaking in some much-needed downtime in the offseason after helping the Knicks reach the conference finals for the first time in 25. He, along with the rest of his teammates, are waiting patiently to see who their next head coach is going to be.
