New York teams that win the title always have the same parade route up the "Canyon of Heroes." The route usually begins at Battery Park as the parade goes up Broadway to City Hall in the Financial District. According to the mayor's office, that will indeed be the route the Knicks follow.
On Monday, Stefan Bondy shared a map of the reported path the Knicks will follow to celebrate their 2026 championship win. The parade will reportedly start at 10 a.m. ET and proceed down the "Canyon of Heroes."

What is the Canyon of Heroes?
The Canyon of Heroes is a stretch that runs from Battery Park to City Hall and has been the home of ticker-tape parades over the years.
Th route gets its "canyon" name because the street is flanked by skyscrapers that make one feel like they are in a canyon, and "heroes" acknowledges the many parades that have gone through the route. Those parades, which number more than 200, are commemorated with black plaques along the sidewalk along the Canyon of Heroes.

According to The Weather Channel, the high temperature in New York on Thursday is expected to be 88 degrees with a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms.
