Klay Thompson haircut: Mavericks sharpshooter unveils new look

The Dallas Mavericks' season came to a disappointing end with a loss in the Play-In tournament. Just a year removed from an NBA Finals trip, the Mavs suddenly have plenty of questions this offseason. 

After the Luka Doncic-Anthony Davis Lakers-Mavs-Jazz trade, the fallout in Dallas has been unreal. And the summer is going to be an important one for Nico Harrison and company to fix what happened. 

Nonetheless, Mavs fans got a little burst of excitement on Wednesday when sharpshooter Klay Thompson revealed his new haircut. 

Here's the new look for Thompson:

Yes, fans did notice the old Klay cut is back from what he rocked during his early Golden State Warriors days, and Dallas fans are hoping that is a sign of things to come.

"Yeah man, Mavs getting a ring next season," one fan wrote. 

"2010s vibes," a Warriors fan replied.

"Old top ten defender Klay," another wrote.

Other fans weren't too on board with Klay's new look as he ditched the curly hairstyle. "Looks like fake Klay Thompson," one fan wrote as others posted the picture of Klay's impersonator.

Will this look bring back the old Klay from his early Golden State days? We will see.
