Klay Thompson flaunts luxury watch gift from 'sweet' girlfriend Megan Thee Stallion

Things seem to be heating up quickly between Dallas Mavericks star Klay Thompson and his new girlfriend, rapper Megan Thee Stallion. 

The NBA star, 35, and "Savage" singer, 30, made their first public appearance on the red carpet at Stallion's Pete & Thomas Foundation Charity Gala at Gotham Hall in New York City on Wednesday, July 16, and new video footage has just surfaced on social media of the Mavs star raving about a luxury watch that the rapper has already purchased for him. 

At the beginning of a clip shared on X, Thompson is seen sitting in a chair at the gala, rocking a stunning, luxe silver watch on his left wrist that he says Megan gifted him. 

"The evening has just begun too, it's just a little past 8, oh boy. We got a night ahead of us," Thompson, who was dressed sharp in a traditional black-and-white tux, said, as he gazed at the time on the new watchpiece.

The man videoing the clip then complimented the piece of jewelry, telling Thomspon, "That's a good watch too." 

"Thank you, brother. Megan gifted me this," Thompson replied. "Yeah. What a sweet lady," he added, with a huge smile on his face. 

Shortly after the clip surfaced on X, fans began speculating about the type of watch Megan got him.

One person suggested that Thompson's new watch is a $300,000 Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch. Talk about a nice gift for a new significant other. 

The 30-year-old rapper isn't the only one in the relationship handing out gifts.

Earlier this month, Megan Thee Stallion hard-launched her relationship with Thompson after she shared a now-deleted TikTok video unwrapping several Labubu dolls gifted to her by the NBA player. 

During the sweet unboxing video, Megan could be seen sitting on Thompson's left and referring to him as "baby" at one point, as she thanked him for showering her with gifts.
