Kings could test trade market on all-NBA franchise player

The Kings have made some interesting trades over the past couple of seasons, which, at times, have frustrated fans.

Most recently, De'Aaron Fox was traded away to the Spurs.

A few years ago, they traded away Tyrese Haliburton to the Pacers, who were just one game away from a title.

They've already made two major moves in the last few years, and another one could be on the way this offseason.

What player could Sacramento trade?

In the Haliburton trade, the major acquisition for the Kings was Domantas Sabonis.

Sabonis has been phenomenal over the past few years with the Kings, but surprisingly could be on the move this offseason.

Jason Anderson, a beat writer who follows the Kings closely, reported the news that Sacramento could look at Sabonis' value on the trade market this summer.

There's no doubt the Kings will get several calls from across the league if Sabonis becomes available or even if they are just hearing out trade offers.

Sabonis is up there as one of the best centers in the NBA and is one of the few versatile bigs that can do it all.

He averaged 19.1 PPG, 13.9 RPG (1st in NBA) and 6.0 APG in the 2024-25 season.
