Iván Pol, the celebrity facialist behind The Beauty Sandwich — a non-invasive, non-toxic treatment — has relocated to New York after losing his treasured Palisades spa in January’s Los Angeles wildfires.
Pol is currently renting a one-bedroom space across the street from The Surrey, where many of his A-list clients stay during the Met Gala.
The renovated apartment — zoned as a live/work space — is on East 76th Street, between Fifth and Madison avenues. Inside, it’s a spacious 2,580 square feet, and features hardwood floors and a wet bar and kitchen area. Outside, there’s a garden.
The rental was last asking $16,000 a month with six months free rent on a 24-month lease. The listing broker was Douglas Elliman’s Lori McNichol. Pol was repped by Amanda Zacharia of Douglas Elliman’s Erin Boisson Aries Team.
Pol’s clients include Sabrina Carpenter, Salma Hayek, Kim Kardashian, Cindy Crawford, Emma Stone and Ana de Armas.
Moving to New York does not mean forgetting what happened in LA.
“Life is so precious. I know I’ve lost my spa, but I feel like I’m one of the lucky ones because so many people have lost not only their businesses but their homes, family members, pets. I’m hurt, but I know my dream lives on. This is going to make me stronger. I’m so grateful for that space, and it breaks my heart that six years later it burned down … but the memories didn’t,” Pol told Allure in January.
