Kim Kardashian Graduates Law School After 6 Years

Kim Kardashian is setting the record straight.

After announcing she graduated from law school after six years of training, the Kardashians star shared a message defending her completion of studies as a "real" achievement.

"Six years ago, I embarked on an unconventional path to pursue my dream of becoming a lawyer," Kim wrote in a May 22 Instagram post. "It wasn't easy, and it took longer than planned, but I never gave up. Each course brought moments of doubt, tears, and triumph - especially when I conquered subjects I initially feared."

Noting that stepping into that "unknown" was part of the "beauty of life," the 44-year-old went on to clarify the credentials of her Law Office Study program, which enrolls its students in four-year apprenticeships at law firms as opposed to traditional law schools.

"I chose a rigorous program registered with the California State Bar, building on 75 college credits to complete a four-year curriculum that stretched to six," Kim explained. "The journey was real, and so is the accomplishment."

In addition to her apprenticeship, Kim also took the "baby bar" exam—which signifies the completion of the first year of study for students taking unaccredited law classes—three times before passing it in 2021, as well as the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE), a crucial test needed to become a license lawyer.

And the SKIMS founder acknowledged that none of those achievements would have been possible without the help of her friend Van Jones and her mentors Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney, as well as Sam Farkas and Chuck Shonholtz, who she noted "dedicated countless hours" to help her succeed.

"This experience has shaped me profoundly and I'll carry its lessons with me forever," she added. "Here's to celebrating resilience and new beginnings!"

Of course, Kim didn't only celebrate her career milestone with an inspiring message. Following her graduation, the reality TV personality threw a small commencement ceremony attended by family and friends such as her sister Khloe Kardashian and her and ex Kanye West's kids Saint West, 9, Chicago West, 7, and Psalm West, 6.

As Kim—who also shares North West, 11, with Kanye—told her inner circle during the festivities, "All of you guys have been on this journey with me."
