Kiefer Sherwood's fiancee Ariela dons ivory halter mini dress for her bachelorette party in Miami

Vancouver Canucks defenseman Kiefer Sherwood and his fiancee Ariela Smith are about to tie the knot this summer. This week, Ariela celebrated her bachelorette in Miami, Florida, with her close friends.

On Friday, she reposted a series of stories on her Instagram from the party. One of the pictures showed Ariela indoors holding a Clase Azul tequila bottle.

She wore an ivory halter mini dress with a plunging neckline and pleated skirt. She paired it with black sunglasses, gold earrings and had her hair tied up.

Another picture saw Ariela standing outside next to a friend in a red mini dress. Ariela wore the same ivory dress with platform heels and carried a small white handbag. The next story was a mirror selfie Ariela took with another friend also dressed in red.

Kiefer Sherwood and Ariela Smith got engaged in August last year during a trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands. Sherwood proposed to her on a beach at the Amanyara resort. They have announced their wedding date as July 26, 2025

Kiefer Sherwood and Ariela visited upscale Miami restaurant collaborating with Casablanca

Earlier last month, Kiefer Sherwood and Ariela spent some time together in Miami. Ariela shared a photo on her Instagram stories from their dinner at Forte dei Marmi, an upscale Italian restaurant on Ocean Drive.

In the photo, Sherwood was seen standing outside the restaurant wearing a white t-shirt and pants. Ariela captioned the photo “Date night” and tagged the location.

Forte dei Marmi is known for its luxury setting and Italian dishes inspired by the seaside town in Tuscany. In 2025, the restaurant teamed up with fashion brand Casablanca for a Miami Open celebration and released a special silk shirt that featured artwork of the restaurant.

Sherwood and the Canucks missed the playoffs this year, ending their season early. Ariela later shared a photo carousel on her Instagram from the hockey season.

“Same time next year? 🇨🇦🏒💃” read the caption of the post.

The photos included moments like walking their dog Luca, eating sushi, horseback riding, a sunset street view, a mirror selfie, a boat outing with friends. One picture showed Sherwood holding Luca while wearing a beanie and another saw cherry blossoms and a snowy mountain view.

Ariela also shared a picture from her friend Lina’s baby shower and a quiet moment at a horse arena. The final image featured Sherwood holding two puppies that the couple adopted earlier this year.

Sherwood signed with the Canucks last summer. He ended the season with 19 goals and 21 assists in 78 games.
