Kevin Love goes viral for taking shots at the Raptors at Kyle Lowry's party

About a decade ago, the Cleveland Cavaliers were far and away the best team in the Eastern Conference. With LeBron James as the superstar, it was clear that he made Cleveland so much better than the rest of the East.

The primary team that suffered from this was the Toronto Raptors, led by Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan. A decade later, former Cavs forward Kevin Love made sure to remind Toronto about their history during Lowry's party in The 6.

Kevin Love provides LeBronto flashbacks to the Raptors fan base

During the 2010s, the Cavaliers played against the Raptors across three separate series in 2016, 2017, and 2018. The Raptors only mustered two wins across the 14 postseason games they played against each other during that span.

It got so bad that Toronto was renamed "LeBronto" by the NBA community. Thankfully for the Raptors, they managed to win a championship in the 2018-19 season, but that was the season that LeBron left for the Los Angeles Lakers.

As a mainstay of that Cavaliers roster, Love has always found ways to prop up their success. Unfortunately for the Raptors, they don't have much to rebut against Love because they lost to the Cavs back then, and they also lost in the 2026 Playoffs.

"I know this is Kyle’s day, but isn’t this LeBronto? I'm just kidding, I love you guys," Love said in front of the Raptors fans during Lowry's block party.

Love is well-known across the league as one of the biggest jokers, so he could not pass this up. In turn, he received a lot of boos from the Raptors fans, which he proudly lapped up as well.
