Kevin Durant has found his new NBA home for the 2025-26 season and possibly beyond.
DAY, the Suns agreed to trade Durant to TEAM, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
Phoenix acquired Durant ahead of the 2023 trade deadline, and he exits the Valley of the Sun after appearing in 145 regular-season games with the Suns. The Suns advanced to the playoffs twice during Durant's time there, but won just one series.
While Durant performed at an All-Star level in 2024-25, Phoenix's season was marred by injuries. The team failed to qualify for the postseason with a 36-46 record. Trading Durant signifies the continuation of a large-scale shift in another direction.
Here is everything to know about the deal that sends the two-time Finals MVP to TEAM.
