The Houston Rockets are at home on Friday night as they host the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 6 of their first-round playoff series.
For the Rockets, they enter Friday’s game trailing 2-3 in the series after defeating the Lakers on the road on Wednesday night in Game 5.
Now Houston will return home for Game 6 on Friday where they will try to grab another victory to keep their season alive and force Game 7 back in Los Angeles.
While the Rockets are looking to pick up a victory in Game 6 on Friday night to force Game 7 after trailing 0-3 in the series at one point, they may be without one of their star players due to injury.
Rockets list Kevin Durant as doubtful for Game 6
For the Rockets, they have three players listed on their injury report for Friday’s game, including star forward Kevin Durant.
Houston has listed Durant as doubtful due to a left ankle sprain and bone bruise and he is expected to miss his fourth consecutive contest and fifth game of the series.

With Durant likely to be sidelined once again on Friday, Tari Eason, Reed Sheppard, Dorian Finney-Smith and Josh Okogie could all continue to have increased roles.
The Rockets have ruled out Fred VanVleet as he continues to recover from a torn ACL while Steven Adams will miss the remainder of the season while recovering from ankle surgery.
