Riders up! It's time to hit the track at Churchill Downs for the 151st Kentucky Derby.
Heading into the first leg of the Triple Crown, Journalism is considered the betting favorite, as the colt is bringing a four-race winning streak to Louisville, Ky. Other contenders include Sovereignty, Sandman and Burnham Square.
Another storyline worth monitoring is the return of Bob Baffert, who was suspended after Medina Spirit failed a post-race drug test at the 2021 Kentucky Derby. Baffert's horses have won the Kentucky Derby six times, leaving him tied with Ben Jones for the most wins by a trainer.
