Through the first six weeks of the 2026 NFL season, Kenneth Walker III has been one of the most impressive running backs and players overall in the entire NFL.
He's dominating as he did during the Seattle Seahawks' Super Bowl run, and the Kansas City Chiefs are reaping the rewards. He already has more rushing yards than the Chiefs' leading rusher had a season ago. But his statistics aren't all that prove he's great.
ESPN's Brady Henderson and Nate Taylor revealed that wide receiver Xavier Worthy has had opposing defenders admit to Worthy that Walker is "different" while still being on the field, which should explain just how incredible Walker has been so far this season.
Kenneth Walker III is so good, defenders praise him while on the field
"Bro, I be watching it live and [defenders] are telling me on the field, like, 'Bro, he's different,'" Worthy said. "I [don't] have to tackle him. All they say is, 'He's different.' That's it."
Walker has been incredibly impressive for the Chiefs this season, and this praise from opposing defenders, while still on the field, should explain just how good he is.
A player isn't going to admit that Walker is "different" if he's not doing something worthy of such lofty praise. While some running backs are impressive, Walker's taken it to a whole new level this season.

In five games, Walker has run the ball 106 times for 665 yards and six touchdowns, good for an NFL-best 6.3 yards per carry. Oh, he's also a great receiver, adding 14 receptions on 21 targets for 95 yards and two touchdowns.
The Chiefs' new running back has been arguably the NFL's Offensive Player of the Year through Week 6, and his dominance has defenders admitting how "different" he is to Chiefs players on the field.
Now, he'll face a team full of familiar faces in Week 7, as he goes up against the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football.
This will be a big rest for both Walker and the Seahawks' defense. Both have been elite this year, and it will be very interesting to see how this matchup goes.
