Kendall Jenner is the model of the moment.
She arrived on the Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2026 red carpet, looking ethereal in a baby blue Chanel corset gown.
Jenner slipped into the dress, which was embroidered with gradient sun sequins and embellished with multiple layers of fabric in shades of blue and white, depicting mushrooms.
The whimsical shrooms appeared throughout the runway collection designed by new creative director Matthieu Blazy, including mushroom heels (though it was unclear which shoes Jenner herself chose).
She looked to Tiffany & Co. for her jewelry, wearing a pair of 4-carat diamond drop earrings and a 6-carat diamond ring, both set in platinum.
The painterly hidden message was perhaps a reference to the “Kardashians” star’s love of the fungus; in 2022, the model shared her love of mushroom tea as part of her wellness routine with The Wall Street Journal.
The 808 Tequila founder, 30, was joined at the bash by sisters Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian — all of whom chose sequined dresses for the evening, though they didn’t pose together on the carpet.
The supermodel is a regular attendee at the glitzy party, but this year is particularly special as sister Kylie Jenner graces the glossy’s cover this month.
This is Jenner’s seventh Vanity Fair Oscar Party, having attended every year since 2018 with the exception of 2020 and 2021 (the latter of which didn’t happen due to COVID-19).
Last year at the same event, Jenner looked to be keeping it pretty tame in a high-neck, long-sleeve gown made of black lace. But, upon closer inspection, the totally sheer look was revealed to have been crafted of rubber, lending it an edge.
It was a vintage Thierry Mugler design from 1992 and featured a thigh-high slit and bell sleeves. She later changed into a second Mugler look: a micro-mini from the brand’s spring 1998 spring/summer collection for Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s party.
Some of her most memorable looks include the sheer Maison Margiela corset gown she wore in 2024 and the sky-high slits that sat above her hip bones on her loincloth-like Rami Kadi dress in 2019.
When it comes to daring fashion, never count out a Kardashian or Jenner.
