We can’t keep up with the Kardashians.
Kim Kardashian revealed in a recent interview that her family would be skipping their annal over-the-top Christmas Eve party in favor of a more intimate affair.
“We’re doing a really low-key Christmas Eve party this year,” the Skims founder told Vogue, blaming “a lot of construction” for the inconvenience.
However, she reassured fans that the would still be “dressing up to the nines,” adding, “because that’s what we do.”
And she didn’t undersell, with Kylie Jenner showing out in a sequin-covered white halter dress by Saint Laurent. She accessorized with a pair of pearl-covered heels also by Saint Laurent ($995) and diamond jewelry.
The mom of two, 27, slicked her hair back into a bun and showed off her enormous diamond earrings and added a huge pear-shaped diamond ring on her pointer finger.
Sister Kendall Jenner got the same winter white memo, looking radiant in a long-sleeved silk gown by Pheobe Philo ($3,347). The model, 29, wore the stunning backless cream gown with dark lipstick and a curly bob hairstyle with diamond drop earrings.

Kim herself went super casual in a skin-tight snakeskin-printed Norma Kamali gown ($350 $210). It’s unclear if Kourtney and her family were in attendance while Khloé Kardashian had to miss as her children, True, 6, and Tatum, 2, are both sick.
Kardashian Christmas Eve parties have become an overwhelming affair, with the women dressing up in sequined, bejeweled, matching and festive designer outfits for many years.
This is the first year since the late 1970s that the family won’t host an all-out bash — except for 2020, when the family cancelled all together due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The gathering has grown to incredible heights, with budgets surpassing $1 million and A-list guests including Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera and Kylie’s beau Timothée Chalamet. Superstar singers like John Legend, Sia, Ghostface and more have all sang at the party, too, which has alternated between the homes of Kris Jenner, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian on various years.
It is surprising that construction would bar the family from hosting as just last year Kim transformed her mega-mansion into a winter escape complete with fake snow and a full forest of Christmas trees.
She even built a large cabin-like structure in her backyard where guests danced, sipped on festive cocktails and tubed down the man-made slopes.
In 2022, Kourtney also built two separate structures — one for the children and one large glass tent for the adults with a mind-boggling array of snacks, floral arrangements and more.
