Kelly Osbourne’s toddler reenacted the moment his late grandfather, Ozzy Osbourne, famously bit off the head of a dead bat.
Kelly’s 2-year-old son, Sidney Wilson Jr., was seen chomping the head off of a stuffed animal bat in a video shared to her TikTok Thursday.
“Learned from the greatest, Papa!” Kelly — who shares her child with Slipknot’s Sid Wilson — captioned the video.
The fake bat’s head was connected to the body with Velcro, making it easy for the child to tear into the toy with his teeth and rip it apart with a big smile.
The blond tot was dressed in a spooky skeleton costume and adorable red cowboy boots as he honored the memory of the Black Sabbath frontman ahead of Halloween.
In 1982, Ozzy was performing for his Diary of a Madman tour in Des Moines, Iowa, when a fan threw onto the stage what he thought was a fake rubber bat. Ozzy picked up the bat and bit its head off, only to realize that it was actually a real, dead bat.
The “Paranoid” musician was rushed to the hospital after the show and received rabies shots as a precaution.
Several fans flooded the comments section of Kelly’s kid’s sweet nod to the heavy metal icon.
“Imagine your dad is Sid Wilson from slipknot and your grandfather is ozzy. He’s so cute,” one person commented on the post.
“ok but he kinda looks like a baby ozzy,” a second person pointed out.
“Those osbourne genes are STRONG ☺️✨🙏🏻,” a third person joked.
“I know he saw that and is laughing from heaven,” another said.
“THE LITTLE PRINCE OF DARKNESS!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻,” a netizen added, referring to Ozzy’s nickname.
Ozzy died on July 22 at the age of 76 after struggling for years with a myriad of health issues.

“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” his family said in a statement at the time.
“He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”
Ozzy revealed his diagnosis with stage 2 Parkinson’s disease in 2020. He also suffered from pain due to a neck injury sustained in a bad fall.
Ozzy stepped back from performing amid his health issues, but reunited with his Black Sabbath bandmates one last time in July 2025 for a farewell concert in Birmingham, England.
During the show — which saw performances by Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, and Jack Black — Kelly and Sid got engaged in front of friends and family backstage.
They welcomed their son in November 2022 after their years-long friendship grew into a romantic relationship.
