Keep Up With All the Kardashian-Jenner Family’s Met Gala Looks

Kylie walked the steps in an off-white satin gown by Givenchy, and Kim arrived at the Met in a custom Maison Margiela look, donning a silver gown and corset made of metal leaves and flowers, complete with a gray sweater around her shoulders. And despite the just-threw-on-a-sweater vibe, it wasn’t exactly a cozy look. 

"I’m not as uncomfortable as I might look," Kim told hairstylist Chris Appleton and designer John Galliano as she got ready, her glam prep seen in the Feb. 13 episode of The Kardashians. "It’s definitely a performance piece. I mean, God bless the Bridgerton cast that has to dress like this every single day. That would be so difficult."

“Are you ever gonna wear a dress to the Met where you can actually walk,” Kris chimed in. “I don’t know what I would do if you just walked into the Met wearing a normal dress.”

It's unlikely. Asked if she felt it was worth it to take on such uncomfortable designs, Kim responded,“Abso-f--king-lutely.”

“That’s just who I am,” she continued. “If you look good, it’s all worth it.”
