Kaulig Racing CEO Chris Rice has categorically denied the speculations surrounding Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne's NASCAR return with their RAM-partnered Truck Series outfit. However, Rice admitted that the team had conversations with both drivers since they've driven RAM machinery before.

Earlier this week, rumours began to spread about Stewart and Kahne's return. Bubba Wallace's spotter, Freddie Kraft, discussed the news in his Door Bumper Clear podcast, where he and his co-host, Tommy Baldwin, hinted that the fifth RAM truck will likely be an 'All-Star' entry.

Former Truck Series champion Mike Skinner further fueled the rumours when he spoke to SiriusXM and mentioned Stewart and Kahne as possible candidates. Reflecting upon the same, Rice spoke to SiriusXM as well.

"We do not have a contract with either one of those guys," he said, "Do we have conversation about those guys? Absolutely, do we have conversation about everybody that drove their Dodge car? Absolutely, guys so you can put in there every single person that's been in a Dodge car." "We have two other trucks that we got to announce the drivers for, and when Ram is ready to announce those drivers, we'll do it. But as of right now, they do not have a contract with us," he added.

Kaulig Racing has already tapped Justin Haley for a full-time ride with their Truck Series team. He joins Daniel Dye and Brenden 'Butterbean' Queen to pilot the RAM 1500 Truck. Haley previously helmed the No.7 Chevy for Spire Motorsports in the Cup Series.

Kaulig Racing driver headed for prestigious Rolex 24 at Daytona

Kaulig Racing's AJ Allmendinger will make his return to the Rolex 24 with Meyer Shank Racing. He'll pilot the No.60 Acura in his 16th start at the prestigious event. Notably, Allmendinger has scored two podiums and a win with MSR.

Addressing the same, Allmendinger said (via MeyerShankRacing.con)

"Mike Shank is one of the most important people in my life. He’s one of my best friends and a brother to me. I’ve missed driving for him at the Rolex 24 and feel so fortunate to get another opportunity. The race has always been one of my favorites and I can’t wait to get there!”

Allmendinger finished the 2025 season 26th in standings, while his Kaulig Racing teammate Ty Dillon, finished 33rd. Allmendinger scored seven top-10s, two top-5s and a pole across 36 starts.

In contrast, Dillon has a solitary top-10 and couldn't muster a single top-5. His highlight of the season was beating Denny Hamlin in the opening round of the In-Season Challenge and reaching the finals. He ultimately lost to Ty Gibbs and missed out on a $1 million prize money. Dillon is yet to sign a contract for 2026.
