Karl-Anthony Towns marries Jordyn Woods in star-studded Malibu wedding

Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods are married!

The couple got married in Malibu, Calif., on Saturday, Aug. 15, per photos shared by Page Six.

Woods wore a white strapless gown that featured a full skirt and a lace-trimmed veil. As for Towns, he wore a double-breasted black tuxedo and black bow tie. 

The ceremony took place overlooking the ocean, surrounded by their star-studded guests. The stars that watched Towns and Woods exchange their vows included Kylie Jenner and boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, Hailey and Justin Bieber, Teyana Taylor, Michael B. Jordan, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Ben Stiller were among the guests.

The NBA champion proposed to Woods on Christmas Day. On the Instagram post, Woods shared how being proposed to on the holiday meant to her more than Towns was even aware of at the time. 

"I keep replaying this moment in my head. Karl didn’t even know my dad proposed to my mom on Christmas Eve and in a way we still got to honor his memory," Woods wrote. 

The couple had been friends for years and later began dating in 2020. They both shared how their friendship made a solid foundation for them to grow their relationship into a romantic one.

“I think it’s kind of cool dating your best friend,” Woods said on her Instagram series Regular-ish in September 2021. “We know each other. We know each other’s hearts. We know each other on good days and bad days, and we’ve been through a lot of bad days together.”
