Justin Bieber rips off Hailey’s viral phone case design, begs her to approve his drug-related version

Justin Bieber’s new phone case requires a joint effort.

For the past few months, the “Baby” singer has been teasing products from his forthcoming clothing brand, SKYLRK, on Instagram. We’ve seen chunky slides, abstract sunglasses, and now, a phone case designed to hold a joint.

On Tuesday, Justin revealed he’s taking inspiration from his wife Hailey Bieber in designing a phone case made to hold a single joint or blunt for on-the-go use.

“Workin on the moldingggggggggggggg please approve this idea @haileybieber lmfao,” he captioned a photo of his prototype.

The product was inspired by Hailey’s super popular Rhode Lip Case ($38), which launched in February 2024 and even won a Vogue Beauty Award for “Best Viral Beauty Moment.”

The silicon iPhone case has a uniquely shaped slot in the back, specifically designed to hold the beauty brand’s best-selling Peptide Lip Treatments.

The pop star wasn’t afraid to give his wife flowers, either, writing on Instagram, “@haileybieber as we know innovated something that has now become a staple in culture with her @rhode peptide lip phone case.”

He continued, “Turns out she has this tech patented so if I want to make this case I’ll have to pay her a fee If she even approves me to make this lmfao”

Fortunately, fans of Justin’s design may be in luck. The model responded in the comments, writing, “I’ll think about it!”

If Hailey doesn’t end up approving of her hubby’s design, Justin is equipped with a backup plan.

A few hours later he shared a picture of a light blue silicon phone case featuring the SKYLRK logo. “First sample of a case option without the joint or blunt holder incase Hailey doesn’t approve it,” he explained in the caption.

Even though it was Hailey’s idea first — and she has previously used her own Rhode phone case for more than just makeup products — fans are still interested in Justin’s version.

“I could actually use that😂😂” one user wrote. Another added, “imma need one of these.”

With Hailey set to design a leather jacket for SKYLRK, perhaps the pair can merge their businesses for the latest accessory.
