Is it too late now to say sorry?
Justin Bieber is reportedly relying on his wife, Hailey Bieber, to pay his $31 million settlement with Scooter Braun.
A source told TMZ on Thursday that a provision within the settlement between the singer and his former manager details that Justin won’t have to pay Brian until Hailey’s Rhode deal hits their bank account.
Page Six has reached out to Justin, Hailey and Braun for comment but did not receive any at the time of publication.
On July 10, it was revealed that Justin had agreed to $31 million to Braun and his HYBE Corporation after an audit determined the singer owed him millions.
At the time, a source explained that Braun had loaned Bieber the money for debt accrued from the latter’s canceled 2022 “Justice” tour.
Three years ago, the “Baby” singer was forced to cancel his tour when he developed Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused facial paralysis. However, the cancellation caused the company backing his tour to demand he return a loan of $26 million.

Braun, 44, then “stepped in to help” Justin, 31, pay the $26 million debt through his HYBE company.
At the same time, Braun was also owed over $11 million in unpaid commissions, of which Justin will only have to pay half.
Justin’s funds to pay off the settlement will come from Hailey’s billion-dollar deal with e.l.f. Beauty, which she reached in May.
The 28-year-old announced she had sold her Rhode Beauty company via Instagram, explaining, “When I launched @rhode in 2022, I always had big dreams for the company, and the most important thing to me is to keep bringing rhode to more spaces, places, and faces globally.”
Before her announcement, an insider confirmed that “Hailey was 100% the breadwinner now.”
Justin’s settlement also came on the heels of his financial issues being exposed.
“He’ll spend $300,000 at the Nobu at Coachella. He hasn’t worked in a really long time,” an insider told Page Six earlier that month, alleging that Justin is spending beyond his means.
Last October, it was also reported that Justin — who has an estimated net worth of $300 million and sold his music catalog for $200 million in 2022 — was considering suing his financial managers for allegedly squandering $300 million of his fortune.
However, a source confirmed that the “Ghost” singer’s spending habits were to blame because they were “out of control.”
“He spends eye-watering amounts per month. At one point, he couldn’t even get a credit card,” the source further claimed. “Justin is surrounded by a lot of people that do not have his best interests at heart.”
Justin’s rep has adamantly denied any financial woes.
“Any source that is trying to sell you a story about alleged financial distress … either doesn’t understand the entertainment industry or, more likely, is trying to paint an unflattering portrait of Justin, which bears no resemblance to reality,” he said in response to a Hollywood Reporter story about the claims.
