Justin Bieber won’t be leaving the City of Angels anytime soon.
Despite lashing out at paparazzi in recent weeks, the pop superstar took to Instagram Friday to proclaim he won’t be “bullied” out of Los Angeles.
“Everyone telling me to move from La,” he began. “U think I’m gonna get bullied to leave where my influence is most needed? How can we make a change if we run away from the darkness?”
Bieber, 31, admitted that he’s “been caught up in the transactional nature of Hollywood,” calling the vague admission “embarrassing.”
However, he said he wants “nothing to do with that as a grown adult with a wife and son,” referencing Hailey Bieber and their 8-month-old baby, Jack.
Instead, the “Baby” singer explained that he wants “to be submerged in the culture learning from any and everyone,” adding that he also wants to be “a proponent and advocate for LOVE AND EQUALITY.”
Justin also posted a video from his point of view showing a handful of paps flashing their cameras in his face as he walked out of an establishment and to his car.
“Look at these guys,” he repeated disapprovingly while his security guards demanded the men “watch out” and “back up.”

Earlier this month, Justin went on an unprovoked tirade against paps photographing him in Palm Springs, Calf., ahead of Weekend 1 of Coachella.
“Good morning,” one of the guys said to the musician, who fired back, “No! Not good morning! You already know. Why are you here?”
He then walked over to the group of photogs and taunted them about how they “don’t care about human beings” because all they want is “money, money, money, money, money.”
The next day, Justin announced that he had cut ties with his fashion brand, Drew House, which he co-founded with his former road manager Ryan Good in 2018.
Good allegedly believes Justin is in a cult.
The “Sorry” crooner has sparked concern among his fans with bizarre behavior that seemed to start after Jack was born last fall.
Justin’s name has also been brought up numerous times in relation to Sean “Diddy” Combs, whose sex trafficking trial is set to begin in just over a week.
Several videos have resurfaced of a young Justin hanging out with Combs in the early days of his career, with many fans online arguing that the rapper taking him under his wing was “inappropriate.”
“Justin is in a hard place mentally right now,” a source said in October 2024. “He has such a history with Diddy, and the allegations against him have been hard to process.”
At the time, a second source made sure to note that the “Ghost” musician was “completely disgusted” by Combs’ alleged misdeeds.
Worry for Justin grew exponentially after he was seen acting strangely at Coachella this past weekend.
At one point during the music festival, he was filmed smoking marijuana next to his 15-year-old brother, Jaxon Bieber, prompting Hailey to remove the teenager from the vicinity.
A source explained Tuesday that the Grammy winner is “tired” of his every move being “weaponized against him.”
