Julian Edelman made his stance clear on the MVP race following Josh Allen and the Bills' 35-31 comeback victory over the Patriots on Sunday.

The three-time Super Bowl champion said that one player is miles ahead of the competition.

"Big takeaway is Josh Allen's (the) MVP," Edelman said on Monday (Timestamp: 0:58), via "Games With Names." "I think my ultimate reaction (to Patriots vs. Bills) was Josh Allen's MVP, two patriots may have needed to have this loss going into the this back end of the season.

"It's either (Matthew) Stafford or Allen right now. Drake Maye, it was great, but, like, we need one more year. We gotta get the floaties off."

Although Matthew Stafford led the LA Rams to a 41-34 win over the Detroit Lions in Week 15, Edelman doesn't see him above Allen. The Rams QB threw 24 completions for 368 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He rushed only once for a 2-yard gain.

The Rams (11-3) and the Patriots (11-3) are leading the NFC West and AFC East, respectively. Meanwhile, the Bills (10-4) are trailing New England by one game in their division heading into Week 16.

How does Josh Allen's production compare to Drake Maye and Matthew Stafford's?

Josh Allen has completed 284 of 406 passes for 3,276 yards, 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 14 games. The reigning NFL MVP's dual-threat ability adds to his case to win the award again this year. He has rushed for 535 yards and 12 touchdowns.

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has thrown 3,567 yards, 23 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He has rushed 85 times for four scores.

Matthew Stafford has arguably put together the most efficient offensive season among the three contenders. The Rams star has compiled 3,722 passing yards and a league-leading 37 touchdown passes against just five interceptions. He has failed to reach the end zone in 26 rushing attempts.
