Journalism wins Preakness Stakes 2025 in crazy come-from-behind finish

Journalism, who was toward the middle of the pack for most of Saturday’s Preakness Stakes, pulled ahead in the final leg to win the race.

Right before the race, Journalism was listed as the 6-5 favorite on NBC after finishing second behind Sovereignty — who was not running in the Preakness — in the Kentucky Derby.
