Journalism is set to take center stage at the Kentucky Derby.
No, not this website, or your favorite newspaper or radio show or television broadcast.
We're talking about the horse named Journalism.
Yeah, really.
Incredibly, he's not even the only media-themed nickname in Saturday's race.
Journalism will match up with Publisher among the other horses in the field.
Here's how Journalism got his name.

Journalism horse name, explained
Journalism earned his name from co-owner Aron Wellman.
Wellman was once the sports editor of the Beverly Hills High School student newspaper, called Highlights.
According to the Louisville Courier Journal, Wellman wrote a column called "Ace in the Hole."
“I’ve often been accused of being a disgruntled sportswriter because of all the writing I do for Eclipse, for our partners and our horse updates and weekly newsletter,” Wellman told the Courier Journal. “So, journalism is something that I value very much, and I appreciate responsible and diligent journalists.”
The headlines would be marvelous if Journalism pulled out a victory Saturday night.
