Josh Allen Trolled by Donovan McNabb After Failed Comeback vs Eagles

1 hour ago 2

Josh Allen nearly led the Buffalo Bills to an impressive comeback victory against the Philadelphia Eagles.

As the Bills got within one point with just seconds left in the fourth quarter, they had a critical decision to make. Buffalo could kick the field goal and force overtime with the scored tied at 13 points, or they could go for the win with a two-point conversion.

The Bills went with the latter, had the right play drawn up, but couldn’t convert after Allen missed his wideout. As a result, the Eagles came away with a 13-12 victory. After the game, Eagles legend Donovan McNabb took a jab at Josh Allen on social media.

Pulling up an old highlight from 2007, McNabb took a trip down memory lane by sharing a recently-posted highlight of the ex-quarterback tossing a short pass to Brent Celek.

It was one of many touchdowns tossed by McNabb. In 167 games throughout his career, McNabb threw for 234 touchdowns.  He set many franchise records for the Eagles during his long tenure in Philadelphia. He closed out his playing career with a run in Washington and a run in Minnesota.

Despite the failed comeback attempt, the Bills remain one of the strongest teams in the AFC. Allen is putting together another Pro Bowl-worthy year.

Leading up to Sunday’s action against the Eagles, Allen had thrown for over 3,400 yards, 25 touchdowns, and just 10 interceptions. On Sunday, Allen completed 23 of 35 passes for 262 yards. While he didn’t throw for any touchdowns, Allen rushed seven times for 27 yards, scoring both of Buffalo’s touchdowns on the ground.

With that loss, the Bills dropped to 11-5 on the year. The Eagles collected the same record with the win.
