Jordyn Woods is sharing her love story with Karl-Anthony Towns ahead of the New York Knicks playoff game.

The couple has been dating for five years, and on Christmas Day last year, Towns proposed. Following the engagement, Woods shared their love story on social media.

"Love was never meant to be loud. It was meant to be certain. Not rushed, not performative. Just inevitable," Woods said in the video for A Diamond is Forever.

The model shared that their love for one another grew as they were both grieving family members who were close to them. Woods lost her father in 2017 to cancer when she was 19 years old. The Knicks center lost his mother in 2020 due to complications from COVID-19, and he was 24 at the time.

"Karl had a way of arriving quietly in my life, but leaving his impact forever. Some connections aren't made in the light, but in the quiet understanding of loss. Two hearts recognizing the same absence, and choosing to hold each other a little more gently because of it," she continued.

"Real love doesn't arrive at once. It reveals itself over time, layer by layer. There's a quiet power in that, in something built with intention, something that doesn't need to prove itself. It just is. We created that. Something rare, something enduring. And to me, that's the essence of a desert diamond," Woods added.

Woods ultimately concluded her message on love by sharing that it was not a hard choice to say yes to the proposal.

"So when he asked me to spend forever with him, it wasn't a surprise. It was a reflection of everything we had already become."

Woods captioned the video, "Timeless. Intentional. One of one." In the video, Woods is wearing a white ruffled satin dress as she dons a diamond necklace and, of course, her engagement ring.

Just as Woods praised her relationship with Towns, the Knicks star also credited the model for how she has kept him grounded during tough times.

"My woman has held me down more than the world knows. From my mother and family members dying (1 on her bday in Cabo), getting hit by a drunk driver (was 2pm in the afternoon FYI) in LA this Off-Season and staying with me in the hospital for the night and helping me in rehab, to this stint with COVID she has been there with me every step of the way and stayed ten toes down," he shared with People back in 2021.

Towns continued, "My love for her knows no bounds and I would be remiss if I don't acknowledge the power a good woman can have in your life. Men, treat your woman like a Queen so she can treat you like a King."
