Jordon Hudson shades Hall of Fame after Bill Belichick’s snub: ‘Unforeseen circumstances’

Bill Belichick’s biggest cheerleader has spoken.

In response to Tuesday’s bombshell news that Belichick, 73, was not elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility, the coach’s 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, seemingly aired her grievances in an Instagram post on Tuesday night.

She posted a screenshot of an email to her account saying an order of three patches from the Hall of Fame was canceled.

“Hey @profootballhof, what were the ‘unforeseen circumstances’?” she wrote in the caption with a crying laughing emoji.

Belichick, an eight-time Super Bowl winner, did not receive 40 of the 50 votes required to be enshrined in Canton, Ohio.

The results from the voting committee — comprised of seasoned NFL reporters and figures of the game such as former Colts GM Bill Polian — triggered an outcry across the NFL landscape, with Patrick Mahomes, Jimmy Johnson and Belichick’s former quarterback, Tom Brady, among the many railing against the snub.

“I don’t understand it. I mean, I was with him every day. If he’s not a first-ballot Hall of Famer, there’s really no coach that should ever be a first-ballot Hall of Famer, which is completely ridiculous because people deserve it,” Brady said last week during a radio appearance on Seattle Sports.

“He’s incredible. There’s no coach I’d rather play for. If I’m picking one coach to go out there to win a Super Bowl, give me one season, I’m taking Bill Belichick. So that’s enough said.”

Belichick and Brady, 48, won six championships across their 20 seasons together in New England.

The duo has since gone in different directions professionally, with Brady pivoting to broadcasting and Belichick joining the collegiate ranks. The coach is entering his second season as the Tar Heels’ football coach.

She and Belichick went public with their relationship in 2024.
