Jordon Hudson’s heartfelt tribute to pageant pal Melissa Sapini appeared to include an unexpected jab at boyfriend Bill Belichick’s “socialite” ex, Linda Holliday.
On Tuesday, the Miss Maine USA contender, 24, congratulated Sapini on a memorable reign as Miss Massachusetts USA, which included a run-in with Holliday at a Nantucket holiday bash last year.
“I know you will keep shining, metamorphosing and taking up space; even when others threaten you and insist that you don’t belong, e.g. the ‘Nantucket Socialites’…,” Hudson wrote in part on Instagram.
“Congratulations on completing this chapter, Queenie. I can’t wait to watch you step into your reign as Melissa Sapini, Hollywood Entertainment Reporter Extraordinare!!!”
Sapini joined Hudson at a festive Massachusetts affair in December when the former college cheerleader was confronted by Holliday, who dated Belichick for 16 years before they split in 2023.
In an incident report of the Dreamland gathering obtained by TMZ, Holliday informed a staffer that “she was upset” over Hudson’s attendance and “felt her presence was inappropriate,” as her daughters were headlining the event.
When Hudson was approached by a staffer and asked “if she thought it was a good idea to be there considering the clear animosity,” she said she had “done nothing wrong,” per the report.
Before making her exit, Hudson claimed Sapini “was seemingly threatened by Ms. Holliday, saying that if Ms. Sapini valued her current title, she should think twice about who her friends are and that she, Ms. Holliday, had many powerful friends in the pageant organization,” the report stated, adding Sapini started to cry.
Hudson has not received a warm welcome from the Nantucket social scene, with Page Six reporting in May she’s being “iced out.”
Since going public with their romance in 2024, Hudson’s relationship with Belichick has been under a microscope.
The couple, who met on a flight in 2021, have found ways to turn down the outside noise, heightened in part from a trainwreck CBS interview in April and explosive allegations from Pablo Torre podcast drops in recent weeks.
“Is there noise out there? We’ve always dealt with that,” Belichick told reporters this month as he prepares for his first season as football coach at North Carolina.
“Really, our job is to build a football team and … help build the team and also build their individual careers. So, that’s really where we’re at.”
Hudson has been part of Belichick’s next chapter in Chapel Hill, where Sapini has also joined her on occasion.
Sapini, who was crowned Miss Massachusetts USA in March of last year, expressed gratitude for the journey in an emotional Instagram post Sunday.
“This journey wasn’t about being flawless it was about being fearless. I chased this dream with fire in my soul knowing that one day, the little girl in me would be proud,” she posted. “… To the state of Massachusetts, the city of Boston, my incredible sponsors, coaches, family, friends, supporters and every single person who stood by me thank you for fueling my light and believing in my voice.”
Sapini reached the top 10 in last year’s Miss USA competition.
