Jonathan Owens' wife Simone Biles reveals equestrian sport she got hands on with during break from gymnastics

While Jonathan Owens has been busy this season, his wife, Simone Biles, has been making the most out of her break from gymnastics. With more free time, she decided to try new hobbies, including horse riding.

The idea to learn the equestrian sport came to her as a result of boredom. A major factor that pushed her to do it was that the stables were close to her house. Biles opened up about her interest in the sport on Wednesday.

"Other than (Pilates), I really just do my horseback riding lessons,” Biles said, via People. “I had one yesterday at 5:30 p.m. Usually, I have it early in the morning, but since I had calls, we're like, 'Let's do it the night before.' There are stables right next to my house, and it's here. So it's all fencing and equestrian.”

The Olympic gymnast also revealed how her house owner offered his horses to help her ride more comfortably.

"So I was bored one day and I was like, 'What am I going to do?' And I was like, 'I'm going to start taking horseback riding lessons.' Because, why not?" Biles said. "It's literally here. And our house owner right now, he has a whole bunch of horses, and he's always offered it."

Meanwhile, Owens recently participated in a distribution drive to help create a positive impact in the community.

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens have been together since 2020; however, he wasn't her first partner. Before the Bears' safety, Biles had a boyfriend whom she dated from 2017 to March 2020.

"Jonathan is only my second relationship," Biles said on TikTok in October.

Biles' first relationship was with her fellow gymnast, Stacey Ervin Jr.

She sparked a romance with Owens months after parting ways with him. The couple dated for two years before getting engaged in February 2022. They had an intimate wedding ceremony in Texas on April 22, 2023.
