Jonathan Kuminga can come out of free agent hibernation now.
LeBron James has signed with the Philadelphia 76ers. The NBA is back open for business.
That's really what it feels like on Friday afternoon after the King James news broke. The whole league was waiting to see what he would do.
Now that his decision has been made, James can step aside. The rest of the remaining free agents can get their crack at contracts.
Kuminga is one of the most prominent. He's still young and talented, but it hasn't worked out for him with the Golden State Warriors or Atlanta Hawks.

Frankly, Kuminga needs someone who really believes in him enough not just to sign him but to give him a major opportunity.
It had to be tough waiting most of July after waiting even longer a year ago to end up back with the Warriors, but at least the waiting game is likely over now.
Kuminga is also helped by the fact that the 76ers were never a likely destination for him. James went somewhere that probably didn't make sense for Kuminga.
The two teams linked most often to Kuminga are the Los Angeles Lakers -- James' former team, to whom he never planned on returning -- and the Cleveland Cavaliers, who were in the running for LeBron but missed out.
The Cavs in particular feel like an obvious spot. They'll be reeling from missing LeBron and want to make some kind of splash, even a small one. Kuminga would fit that mold.
But really wherever he goes, at least Kuminga can start to feel like there's momentum again.
The NBA came to a screeching halt waiting for the King to make up his mind. The peasants are now able to negotiate once again.
