Jonas: Harper's trying to hide it but Dubois has got under her skin

Two-weight world champion Natasha Jonas considers whether Caroline Dubois has rattled Terri Harper ahead of their world lightweight title unification...

Caroline Dubois has really got under Terri Harper's skin. She's trying to hide it but you can see the signs. And Caroline can see it as well.

So it's really interesting. I'm loving the new Caroline. As long as she can back it up in the ring, then go and be who you want to be and have that confidence in yourself.

That's who she's always wanted to be. Now she's got the confidence, she's got the title, she's got the platform to be who she wants to be. She doesn't have to be quiet. And boxing needs that. We can't all be nicey nicey.

We need characters just like men's boxing has and she's turning into a real character.

Former unified super-welterweight champion Natasha Jonas, who hasn't fought since last March, admits only a 'big occasion' could tempt her back to the boxing ring

I don't think it's going to be as easy a fight as maybe she's saying it's going to be, but I can see a Caroline win.

I think the first three, four rounds are going to be very important. One, for Terri to be able to put her foot down and make Caroline respect her and to frustrate her. But on the flipside of that, Caroline's got to do the exact same thing, to frustrate Terri, for Terri to be dominated and to be three rounds down and revert back to something.

Terri's got it in her head that Caroline's going to fade a little bit in the later rounds, which is something that we have seen maybe in a previous fight. And we have seen that Terri is really fit.

A battle of fitness, a battle of IQ and a battle of the first three rounds.

Ahead of their title-unification fight on April 5th, Caroline Dubois and Terri Harper traded verbal blows in the Sky Sports News studio

Harper could win but it would be a big upset. But she can do if she can drag her into the later rounds and make it look ugly and make her work and make her punch when she doesn't want to.

One of the worst things in boxing is punching when you don't want to. Fighting at somebody else's pace and somebody else's tempo, that's the bit that gets you tired.

It's when you're working at another person's pace, that's when the struggle begins.

Caroline Dubois and Terri Harper shared an intense face-off and traded a few more words after the launch press conference for their fight on April 5

When I fought Harper I thought her engine was good, I thought her shot selection was good but I was surprised for someone who was at the time very muscular that there wasn't really much behind the shots.

You'd have thought she'd have a bit more whip, a bit more snap in the shots. Maybe that's something she's still developing. She was still very young as well when we fought all those years ago.

Caroline Dubois repeated her claim that she considers Terri Harper 'irrelevant' and says victory on April 5th is just the start of her boxing legacy

Caroline will never look past Terri because she's too experienced to do that. But she's also got her eye on Alycia Baumgardner and she knows that she needs to get that result to get the Baumgardner fight. That is a huge fight.

The thing that makes you great is who you're in the ring with and beating all them big names and having them big nights and big fights.
