Eric Trump recently shared his thoughts on the UFC White House event and named Jon Jones among the three fighters that he'd like to see compete on the card.

The UFC White House event is scheduled to take place next year as part of the America250 celebrations and is expected to feature a blockbuster fight card. The fights will go down in an octagon placed on the South Lawn of the White House, and fighters will reportedly walk out from the Oval Office. While the event was initially scheduled for the Fourth of July, it was later rescheduled for June.

Given the size and scope of the event, it's no surprise that many high-profile fighters like Jones and Conor McGregor expressed a keen interest in fighting on the card. In an interview with the NELK Boys, Trump backed Jones to compete at the UFC White House event along with McGregor and Bo Nickal:

"I mean, Jon Jones has to fight. I would love to see him... I feel like he has one left in him, and if there's ever one you're going to do, it's the White House. I think you're going to see McGregor at that one. I know McGregor pretty well; he's a great guy. There's so much talent there right now."

He continued:

"We have to have a good American showing on America's birthday at the White House... We've become pretty close to Bo Nickal; he's a hell of a fighter. This kid was undefeated at Penn State, a true American champ who goes into the octagon and starts knocking people's heads off... I'd like to see a couple of American kids who did really well in college, at the good American state schools."

Jon Jones issues passionate plea to Dana White about potential UFC White House feature

It appears Jon Jones is quite keen on coming out of retirement for a fight at the UFC White House event. The MMA legend recently sent UFC CEO Dana White a passionate message and pleaded to be booked for a fight on the one-of-a-kind card.

During an interview with The Schmo (via @RedCorner_MMA on X), Jones was asked about potentially featuring on the White House card next year. He replied:

“I really hope it happens. Dana, bro, please, bro, please. I’m training, I feel great, I’m healthy, and I’ll be so honored to represent our country and do what I do best.”
