John, Patrick McEnroe brothers make big announcement about tennis broadcasting ahead of French Open

John McEnroe has had his eyes on another set of famous sports television brothers.

John has been watching the ManningCast, produced by ESPN for Monday Night Football. It's an alternative viewing experience in which the brothers, and their guests, chat about the game in a much more casual, humor-filled setting.

John wants he and his brother Patrick to do something like that for tennis.

Both have become standout broadcasters since the conclusion of their playing careers.

Sports Media Watch reported that "John McEnroe said he would be interested in a Manningcast-style presentation with his brother Patrick."

The report also indicates that this was considered for the 2022 U.S. Open but never came to fruition.

The brothers have had the chance to broadcast matches together in a more traditional format, but never in this new-age style.

John is in France to cover the 2025 French Open at Roland Garros. Turner airs the first round beginning on Sunday.
