John Cena is one of the greatest stars in the history of WWE. The Last Real Champion is set to compete in his final match at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13th. Cena ended all speculation regarding his final opponent by announcing that a tournament will take place with the winner facing him in his retirement match.

Last year at the Money in the Bank PLE, Cena came out to announce that he will be retiring from in-ring competition in 2025. He announced that he will have a year long retirement tour starting from January and concluding in December.

The tour kicked off at the RAW debut on Netflix episode this year when Cena announced his entry into the Royal Rumble. During the live stream of Saturday Night's Main Event in Salt Lake City, Cena made the announcement regarding his final match through a video package.

John Cena stated that he believes his final opponent should not be handpicked but earn the opportunity. He announced a 16-man tournament starting from the November 17th episode of RAW in his hometown of Boston. He stated that it'll feature stars from RAW, SmackDown and NXT while also claiming that some guys who don't work in WWE might also compete in it.

The tournament is being called "The Last Time is Now Tournament" with the winner having the honour to face Cena in his retirement match. It will be interesting to see who will put an end to the in-ring career of John Cena.
