Joe Jonas gives rare update on co-parenting with ex Sophie Turner after bitter custody battle

Joe Jonas said he’s “grateful” for his co-parenting relationship with ex-wife Sophie Turner.

“I’m a single dad and I co-parent with my children’s mother,” the singer explained on Tuesday’s episode of his “Hey Jonas!” podcast alongside brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas.

While acknowledging that there are a lot of people in his “situation,” Joe added, “I’m grateful that I have a co-parent that I can balance even the bad days.”

The artist, 36, and actress, 30 — who tied the knot in 2019 before splitting four years later — share custody of daughters Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3.

“But I think being able to have good people around me to kind of help me navigate it is really special,” Joe gushed.

The Jonas Brothers lead singer added that his children have given him “purpose” again in life.

“They’ve really given me the reason to be alive, I would say,” Joe mused. “I think, in my saddest moments, I’m able to be reminded quickly that a hug from them can solve the world’s problems.”

The “Cake by the Ocean” crooner admitted that his little ones have taught him that he’ll “be OK” even on the hardest of days.

Joe and Turner announced their split in September 2023 after four years of marriage.

In their joint statement, the “Game of Thrones” star and Joe explained they “mutually decided to amicably” end the marriage.

The divorce was finalized in September 2024 following a messy custody battle.

In 2023, Turner sued Joe, accusing him of preventing their daughters from returning to her home country, England, by withholding their passports.

The Disney Channel alum denied the allegations, with his rep calling the suit a “harsh legal position” that goes against the “amicable co-parenting setup” they had in place.

The former flames ultimately reached a co-parenting agreement, and Turner dropped the filing.

In January 2024, Joe was linked to model Stormi Bree for five months before being spotted with actress Laila Abdallah several months later.

By October 2024, Joe stepped out in Paris with a mystery woman, and in January 2026, the musician sparked romance rumors with model Tatiana Gabriela.

In April 2026, the couple went Instagram official.

“They started seeing each other at the end of the summer,” a source told Us Weekly at the time, adding that Joe has already introduced the cover star to his daughters, family members and friends.

For her part, Turner dated aristocrat Peregrine “Perry” Pearson in November 2023.

She was last linked to Chris Martin.

In November 2025, according to Us Weekly, the “Dreadful” actress and Coldplay frontman, 49, went on a series of dates and had a “spark.”

However, neither party has confirmed the connection.

Turner did, however, confirm her single status in January, telling Net-a-Porter’s PORTER, “I haven’t seen my friends, or I haven’t gone on a date in weeks, months!”
