On November 3, 2025, during a nearly six-hour Weverse livestream titled “Hello, this is Ian,” BTS' Jungkook raised the long-running question of whether he’ll someday headline his own solo tour.

The broadcast pulled in over 11.1 million viewers in real time as he chatted, played games, sang live, watched YouTube with fans, and even ate a late-night “gukbap” while interacting on camera. The tone redirected when an ad for j-hope’s solo show emerged.

"I’m sure i’ll be able to do it too someday," the SEVEN singer asserted.

Those words echoed earlier comments he’s made on Most Requested Live with Romeo, the artist said, “I do have the desire to have a TOUR,” and on the Jimmy Fallon show, he stated, “Of course I want to do a world tour as a SOLO artist."

— “I hope i get to the point where I can perform alone for 3 or 4 hours in a venue full of people”— “... I do have the desire to have a tour”— “Of course i want to do a world tour as a SOLO artist”— “I hope I’d be able to hold SOLO concert someday”HE SAID IT SO MANY TIMES

The brief line on Weverse sent social media into a spike of speculation, adding fresh fuel to conversations about a Jungkook solo tour that have circulated for some time.

"JK deserves that moment the most :(( he has always been so so vocal about wanting to do his own solo concerts…," an X user commented.

Fans continue to support the idea of Jungkook holding a solo tour, noting that he "deserves it."

I will be there and i will support you. You desserve this world tour. I'M so sad for him When he says that, you can hear the tremolo in his voice; it's a bit frustrating. I think he really wanted to do a tour, but he couldn't.We love Jungkook APOBANGPO 🫠❤️🫶🥺🥺🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

This is what I talked about. He wants solo tour and he deserves it! Jungkook, I believe you'll get your solo concerts, we are waiting. Don't give up, JK! ✌️

We're really looking forward to the solo tour! He deserves it like no other.

Others criticize BIGHIT, saying they are not "allowing" Jungkook’s solo tour despite "huge demand."

So great that it becomes the news!!!!! The world need JUNGKOOK SOLO CONCERT!!! There are huge demand but #jungkook is NOT ALLOWED to supply!!! @bts_bighit please be fair and look at the huge demand of Global market!!!!😡😡

this really is just so frustrating to see, y’all should be embarrassed and ashamed of yourselves @HYBEOFFICIALtwt @BIGHIT_MUSIC

what’s the company doing? just don’t wanna see him shine on his own bc they know he’s the most talented one n could achieve big things even more than the whole group... that’s the real reason

On October 31, 2025, Jungkook appeared at Jin’s RUN SEOKJIN EP.TOUR encore at Incheon Munhak Stadium, the first of two shows. He and j-hope joined Jin onstage and performed SUPER TUNA and Jamais Vu. During the latter, j-hope referenced the missing second verse. Jin responded,

“Later, if Jungkook does a concert of his own..”

JHOPE: “We’re doing the 2nd verse next time?”JIN: “Later, if Jungkook does a concert of his own.” 👀HELLO?? DID HE JUST SAY THAT?? JUNGKOOK SOLO WORLD TOUR CONFIRMED???JIN DROPPING SPOILERS LIKE IT’S NOTHING 🔥I’M NOT READY FOR THIS LEVEL OF CHAOSJK WORLD TOUR WHENNN 💜

Jungkook nodded, and the exchange circulated widely online. The BTS maknae also used a gold microphone and gold in-ear monitors featuring his Golden-era personal logo. The items drew attention due to ongoing solo-tour speculation.

Previosuly, rumors continued through fan and media accounts. Ticketmaster briefly displayed Jungkook’s name before removing it, prompting further discussion. Scattered reports pointed to Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City, a roughly 65,000-capacity site. However, none of these items is confirmed.

Jungkook's solo tour speculation follows after SUGA, under his Agust D moniker, rolled out the D-DAY global run back in 2023. j-hope followed suit with his HOPE ON THE STAGE. Meanwhile, Jin lined up next with his debut standalone tour, the RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR. As for RM, Jimin, and V, the trio remains without confirmed large-venue tour rollouts at this time.
