Guillermo Rodriguez is headed to the ballroom!
Jimmy Kimmel’s sidekick is joining Season 35 of “Dancing With the Stars,” the late-night talk show host announced on Wednesday.
“I have a major announcement to make. I have been authorized, deputized even … to reveal the name of a major celebrity contestant who will be competing in the upcoming season,” Kimmel, 58, told viewers.
“This person is someone you know, someone you love and someone we know quite well,” he teased.
After Rodriguez quipped that he “couldn’t wait to find out” who the person was, curtains parted to reveal him as the contestant in question.
The 55-year-old gave a glimpse of his dance moves in a blue costume with ruffled sleeves as the crowd cheered.

“He will become the first ever parking lot security guard to dance with the stars,” Kimmel said, referencing Rodriguez’s start at the studio before becoming his right-hand man.
The Emmy winner subsequently urged Rodriguez not to “lose a single adorable pound.”
Kimmel’s “excited” and “happy” pal replied, “I promise, if I lose five pounds, I’m gonna gain 10 pounds back right away.”
Rodriguez is the fourth person to be tapped for this fall’s installment of “DWTS.”
“Summer House” star Ciara Miller will also be competing for the Mirrorball trophy in the wake of her co-stars’ West Wilson and Amanda Batula’s bombshell romance betrayal.
“I grew up dancing,” the Bravolebrity, 30, told Us Weekly of the “DWTS” gig in April. “I did ballet for 10 years. Why not?”
“Love Island” alum Maura Higgins will also be taking the stage.
Additionally, news broke in May that Savannah Bananas star Jackson Olson will take part in the season.
The baseball player, notably, is Pat Sajak’s daughter Maggie Sajak’s boyfriend.
