WWE superstars Jey and Jimmy Uso will clash against AJ Styles and Dragon Lee next week on RAW for the WWE Tag Team Championship. The match was made official this week on the red brand.
However, the Yeet Master has dropped a shocking tease on social media before the big clash. He has hinted at a split with Jimmy Uso ahead of their big title match. On his Instagram account, Jey uploaded a selfie with a caption,
"Sometimes u gotta do it alone 11:11."Spoiler on Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes - Check Here!
The post indicates that all isn't well with Jey Uso as far as his current WWE run is concerned. The former World Heavyweight Champion hasn't been himself lately since losing out on repeated attempts to win back his World Heavyweight title.
Jey won the title from Gunther at WrestleMania 41. However, he lost the gold within two months on Monday Night RAW to Gunther once again. Since then, he has been trying to win back the title, but hasn't been able to do so. His last failed attempt came against CM Punk at Saturday Night's Main Event last month. And after losing the bout to Punk, Jey has also been most likely pulled out of the title picture.
He has been aligned back once again with brother Jimmy Uso, which hasn't gone down well with the Yeet Sensation. This post on social media might be a subtle hint from Jey Uso that he might breakaway from Jimmy Uso once again.
Wrestling veteran says WWE is moving toward Jey Uso's heel turn
According to former WWE manager, Dutch Mantell, Jey Uso's current character might have become stale, and the company is slowly inching towards a heel turn for the Yeet Master. During an episode of Story Time With Dutch Mantell, the wrestling veteran said that WWE could turn Jey into a heel to see the kind of reaction he draws from the fans.
"It's just that the fans have just worn out on him. I think they've figures it out now. They're gonna turn him bad guy to see what they can get out of him. Most of the time, people have that figured out. And even if they turn him back, it doesn't make a difference."WWE has been teasing Jey's heel turn for the past few months. He turned on Jimmy Uso during the Battle Royal match to win the No. 1 Contender's match for the title clash against CM Punk at SNME. Jey eliminated Jimmy and LA Knight at the same time to win the Battle Royal match, leaving Jimmy stunned.
Similarly, Jey has mentioned on several occasions that being a good guy doesn't always help. He has also expressed frustration with losing matches. For example, after losing the match to LA Knight on the December 5 episode of RAW, Jey went insane, throwing things around the ringside.
All these signs indicate that the company is indeed moving towardsWW Jey Uso's heel turn. It's only a matter of time before it happens.
