Jets players show off questionable art skills in hilarious team video

With team OTA’s and mandatory minicamps now over, and training camp still weeks away, we’ve officially hit that rare time of the NFL calendar when there is nothing going on. To fill that void, the New York Jets social media team apparently thought it would be fun to ask some of the players to attempt to draw their college team’s logo from memory in just one minute.

Quarterback Justin Fields, who played for Ohio State, didn’t seem to have much trouble drawing the Buckeyes’ fairly simplistic logo, though it was still a bit rough. But the funniest drawings came from receiver Josh Reynolds and defensive back Brandon Stephens. You’ll see why in the full video below.

ok, so we many not have any Picasso's in this group but we still like it! 😂 pic.twitter.com/rVTyie6ePB

In fairness to Brandon Stephens, drawing the charging horse of the SMU Mustangs is incredibly difficult. But Reynolds, who played at Texas A&M, has the logo tattooed on his arm and still badly botched his drawing of the state of Texas. Hopefully Aggies fans (and Texans in general) won’t take it personally.

This is not the first humorous video involving Jets players that the social media team has posted. Two weeks ago, as the players got their pictures taken during the team’s media day, Quinnen and Quincy Williams participated in a re-enactment of a hilarious picture from the popular Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly movie, Step Brothers. Hopefully, as we continue the slog through the doldrums of June, it won’t be the last. With as much hype as there is around this Jets team, the fans won’t stand going too long without fresh Jets content.
