Jets’ moronic kicking fiasco indicative of laughable season

Normally this is where you’d hitch a ride with me down memory lane. 

Jets-Colts? Are you kidding me? By now I’d have written a sonnet to Matt Snell, and added a snide remark about how open Jimmy Orr still is. 

I’d be piecing together an ode to that classic Namath-Unitas matchup in ’72, the day the two of them combined for 872 passing yards and eight touchdowns (496 and six for Joe Willie) in a 44-34 Jets win at old Memorial Stadium in Baltimore. I’d be reminiscing about the time that Rex finally figured out Peyton Manning for the first time in that playoff game in Indianapolis.
