Jets have already seen enough of 5-foot-11 wide receiver after rookie minicamp

The New York Jets have made a roster move at the conclusion of rookie minicamp.

The team announced on Sunday that it has signed offensive lineman Landon Young and waived wide receiver Mac Dalena.

Young was one of the many players to get a tryout at rookie minicamp this weekend.

Dalena was signed to a futures deal earlier this offseason after a cup of coffee with the Seattle Seahawks' practice squad in 2025.

A former sixth-round pick of the New Orleans Saints in 2021, Young has 56 games of NFL experience since then.

However, all 215 of his snaps have come on special teams.

Young will offer another body along the offensive line for the Jets as they navigate the offseason program.

He obviously faces an uphill climb to make the roster, but perhaps he can make a case to get on the practice squad in the coming months.

New York will be back in action for OTAs (organized team activities) on May 27.
