Jet skier and small boat breach Sail4th 250 security zone as Coast Guard scrambles

A jet ski and a small boat have breached the security zone at Sail4th 250, forcing the US Coast Guard into action.

Video shows the two vessels passing under the Verrazzano—Narrows Bridge linking Staten Island and Brooklyn, with the USGC in hot pursuit.

The bridge is where the parade of tall ships began on Sunday at 9:30 a.m., as they prepare to make their way up the Hudson to the George Washington Bridge.
