"Sportico once again named the Dallas Cowboys as the most valuable franchise in sports," Schefter wrote. "Listing their value at $15.5 billion. Jerry Jones' franchise has been the most valuable in sports in every iteration of Sportico’s valuations."

The franchise currently sits $2.8 billion ahead of the second place Los Angeles Rams. New York Giants rank third overall valued at $12 billion. The New England Patriots round out the top five alongside the New York Jets.

The merchandise business generates nearly $200 million annually for the Dallas organization. The team secured massive $300 million in annual sponsorship revenue doubling every other franchise. Global brand recognition remains completely unmatched across the entire league.
