Jerry Jones gets trolled by former head coach Wade Phillips

For the most part, every area of AT&T Stadium offers a breathtaking view of the Dallas Cowboys' field. However, A-list celebrities, including former Dallas Cowboys staff, often enjoy an extraordinary perspective from Jerry Jones' personal suite on the 50-yard line.

Former Dallas Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips briefly trolled Jerry Jones on Sunday

Former Dallas Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips took a light-hearted jab at Jones on Sunday by posting a picture of his seats, which were promised to be at the 50-yard line. Instead, he found himself behind the goalpost in the second bowl level. Despite the disappointing location, Phillips humorously noted that Jones had always been good to his family, which made for a great social media laugh.

Jerry said he had 50 yardl line seats for me— I’m not so sure. pic.twitter.com/m6qPDmhDKK

It's likely that Phillips' seats were given to him by his son, Wes Phillips, the Minnesota Vikings' offensive coordinator, rather than by Jerry Jones. Typically, visiting teams are assigned tickets to less desirable locations, rarely at the 50-yard line.

Kidding of course— Jerry has ALWAYS been great to me and my family.

Phillips served as the head coach of the Cowboys from 2007 until late 2010. He was ultimately fired mid-season following a 1-7 start, despite earlier successes, such as achieving a 13-3 record in 2007 and winning a playoff game in 2009.

After his time with the Cowboys, he continued his coaching career in various roles, including serving as a defensive coordinator for different teams and as a head coach for XFL/UFL teams. Notably, he won a Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos in 2016 while working as a defensive coordinator.
