Jerry Jones' Dallas Cowboys suffered a 34-26 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15 of the 2025 NFL season at AT&T Stadium on Sunday night. It was Dallas' seventh loss of the season, which hampered the team's hopes of making the playoffs.

After the game, Cowboys owner Jones appeared to take shots at Dallas' defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus as the team gave away 34 points against a Vikings offense that has struggled in recent weeks.

"The adjustments that we should be making should be with this year, these next three games in mind," Jones said on Sunday. "They should not be being made — and with three games left in the short time, we've got to play 'em in — then that will impact any adjustments that you make regarding coaching, the timeframe we're dealing with. That's a legit question."

According to reports, Jones left his suite earlier than usual to head to the locker room, with some time remaining in the fourth quarter of the Cowboys-Vikings clash.

The Cowboys hired Eberflus as their defensive coordinator in the offseason. However, the Dallas defense has looked shaky throughout the season so far.

Moreover, the Vikings' offense had scored 27+ points just four times this season, entering Week 15. Minnesota quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who has struggled for most of the season, went 15 of 24 for 250 yards with two touchdowns and an interception while adding 15 yards and a TD on four carries against the Cowboys.

Jerry Jones' Cowboys (6-7-1) will lock horns with the LA Chargers (10-4) in Week 16 of the 2025 NFL season on Sunday. The game is scheduled to commence at 1 p.m. ET from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Dallas now has a very slim chance of making the postseason. Even if the Cowboys win all of their regular-season games, they will need to depend on other results to qualify for the playoffs.
