The Notre Dame Fighting Irish took on the USC Trojans in Week 8 of the 2025 college football season. It was a big matchup between two ranked teams, but it had even higher stakes because, for the time being, the game signaled the end of the heated, historic rivalry between the two teams.
The first half of the game was a great example of why this series has been a must-watch for years. It was back and forth on the scoreboard, but Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love looked like he was running at will on the USC defense. He had an incredible first half, notching over 100 yards on the ground and finding the end zone.
